How to Disqualify Leads with Agent AI Chat Bot | Step-by-Step Guide

AGENT AI CHAT BOT is the master of using AI to conversationally qualify leads and book appointments. But what do we do when we find out in one of our objectives that our lead no longer qualifies for the services we offer? In this article I will walk you through a scenario where we find out we can no longer work with this lead and they don't need to continue with our bot.
Make Our Qualifier Field
Lets go into our GoHighLevel settings and create a custom field. We will make it a Radio Select field.
For this example I am working on finding out the name of the timeshare the lead owns. I am going to list the names of the timeshares we work with along with the other option which will populate if they say any other timeshare we don't work with.
Link Objective to Qualifier Field
Now we can go into our Agent AI Chat Bot account and create our objective to determine the name of @lead_name's timeshare. We will select the custom field we just created in the Auto Update dropdown. The bot will gather this information and update the field, which will trigger our disqualification if that selected option is a disqualifier.
Check If Lead is Qualified When Field Changes
Now we can go into the Agent Ai Chat Bot Automations folder. We will create a new workflow with the trigger being Contact Changed. Our filter will be the custom field Name of Timeshare Has changed.
Add an if action under this.
Within our if action we can name a branch Not our Timeshare with the condition Is Other. Now if the lead says a timeshare outside of our list, this condition will be True.
Bot Off and Goodbye
When the lead does not own a timeshare we work with, we will Add Contact Tag ai off and disqualified. This will turn the bot off since the lead has been disqualified and adds the disqualified tag to give us information why.
Now our bot is off so we can send a manual message to wish them well and give reason why they are not qualified for our business.
