Emerald Green Energy came to us looking for a way to supercharge their lead generation for the ECO4 scheme, and we knew exactly what to do. Meta (Facebook) gave us the leverage to capture attention and build awareness, while Google allowed us to tap into high-intent users actively searching for energy-saving solutions. With Meta, we generated a whopping 20,589 impressions and drove 12,589 unique views. Google, despite coming in during the final week, proved its worth with 1,190 impressions and a rock-bottom cost-per-click of just £1.30. 

But we didn’t just stop at getting clicks. What makes our campaigns stand out is the seamless integration of our own CRM system and landing pages, all linked to a fully customized AI chatbot. This setup enabled us to capture every visitor’s attention and smoothly guide them through the qualification process. 

The Secret Sauce: AI and Automation 

Here’s where the magic happened—our AI chatbot, powered by I Need Agent, took over. Forget boring, static forms! We crafted an engaging, conversational experience that not only qualified leads but also built rapport. As soon as someone filled out their details, they’d receive a personalized SMS from our AI assistant. The chatbot handled it all—asking key questions, processing survey responses, and even scheduling callbacks when needed.  

What’s incredible is how effective this was: out of 124 total leads, 46 responded instantly to the very first automated message, completed a full ECO4 survey, and requested a callback. Another 33 leads went through a more traditional route but completed surveys based on pre-scheduled follow-ups with the AI. Our chatbot proved itself as a silent sales assistant, nurturing leads around the clock and filtering out the best opportunities for human follow-up. 

Of course, it wasn’t just about the tech—we brought our creative flair into the mix. From eye-catching graphics to professionally edited videos, we ensured that every ad and every landing page left an impact. We designed content specifically to resonate with homeowners—dynamic visuals that showed real-world transformations, easy-to-understand infographics breaking down ECO4 benefits, and explainer videos that made complex energy solutions accessible. 

These visuals didn’t just look good; they worked. Combining visually compelling assets with our strategic targeting kept bounce rates low and conversion rates high. 

The Winning Formula 

What’s the secret? It’s about bringing everything together: strategic ad spend, optimized landing pages, personalized AI engagement, and beautiful, brand-consistent visuals. Each piece of the puzzle worked in harmony to create a smooth, efficient, and effective lead generation funnel. By the end of month one, Emerald Green Energy was seeing leads pour in faster than they could handle, with 46% of those leads coming directly from our AI chatbot.

This is just the beginning. We’ve already identified ways to optimize further—like allocating more budget to Google Ads and using even more refined AI responses. We’re also looking to expand on visual storytelling, adding more interactive content that can be used across social channels to drive even deeper engagement.
